Project Overview
Fabulux Alpha Mini P2.6 was selected to provide the critical LED infrastructure for the XR (Extended Reality) virtual production of Elisa Viihde’s original series, "Räjähdyspiste," in Helsinki, Finland. To meet the rigorous standards of modern film production, the project required a display capable of rendering high-fidelity, photorealistic backgrounds. Our Alpha Mini 4in1 technology served as the immersive digital canvas, allowing the production team to blend physical sets with virtual environments seamlessly, reducing post-production costs and enhancing creative freedom.

Project Solution
The Alpha Mini P2.6 was engineered to be "camera-friendly," addressing the specific technical challenges of in-camera VFX. Its 1/16 low-scan rate significantly minimizes moiré patterns and scan-line artifacts, while the 7680Hz high refresh rate ensures a flicker-free performance even under professional high-speed shutters. This creates a stable, lifelike background that directors and cinematographers can trust for every take.
Beyond visual performance, the solution featured a wide color gamut (99.9% DCI-P3) for cinematic color grading and high-precision curving locks. The latter allowed the studio to create a seamless, large-scale curved LED wall, providing a more natural peripheral wrap-around for actors and reflective surfaces. The full front and rear maintenance capability ensured the production schedule remained uninterrupted, providing a robust and efficient workflow for the Finnish studio.
